An 80/10 degree kingpin angle means you use less angled riser (if any) which aids strength and directness. Custom milled 8mm axles with Left and Right handed threads and nuts so they will never loosen. The axles are 'inverted' meaning that your bearings run on perfect smooth axles. We also mill speedrings into the hanger and axle. Less bits means smoother running. The pivot is machined to a smooth round shape and aids ride quality. We use Grade 8 U.S. kingpins for strength and ease of replacement. Khiro hard small pivot cups and custom sourced washers, including flat washer of the perfect size. Each truck is engraved with the Virage Logo and lightly polished.The deep top bushing seat is designed to create a 'buffer' to stop over turning. We find racers are using stiffer bushings than usual to creat the same feel of regular rear trucks. We don not use a spherical bearing in the rear trucks as we found too direct a response can lead to sudden breakaway.
